Judo has been a large part of Andy Stoeckli's life for forty years. He began practising at the age of 10 in his native Switzerland where he competed in regional and national tournaments. Since coming to Canada he has continued practising the various Judo forms (Kata) and competing, and has been instructing for several years. Andy has his 4th degree black belt.
Sabine Smolarek began her Judo practice in Germany when she was 14. Before arriving in Canada she also spent several years practising Shotokan Karate. Sabine has her 3rd degree black belt.
